INTRODUCING BAKED NASHVILLE

A COOKBOOK FROM THE NASHVILLE SCENE

Nashville is delicious. But you already know that.

When we released our first cookbook, Nourish Nashville, in 2020, it was packed with dozens of recipes from some of the best and most celebrated restaurants in town — Mas Tacos, Lyra, Tailor, Lockeland Table, Butcher & Bee, Edley’s Bar-B-Que and many more.

Of course, that was just the icing on the cake of what Nashville’s culinary community had to offer. This time around, we’re shining a light on the bakers and dessert makers in town.

These are the folks who make the cakes and pies that help us celebrate birthdays and holidays. They provide the muffins and scones that kick-start our mornings along with our daily cup of coffee and the cookies that give us a much-needed sugar boost to get us through a dragging afternoon. Because of these pastry chefs, our days are a little sweeter.

Within these pages, you’ll find recipes for classic Southern favorites — Hummingbird Cake, Skillet Cornbread With Sorghum Butter and Tennessee Whiskey Honey Cake — but also other goodies from around the globe.

Nashville is filled with different cultures and cuisines. In this book, chefs share the recipes that remind them of their backgrounds, including Pan de Elote from Mexico City and Somali Chai Crème Brûlée — brimming with cozy and warm chai spices, it’s a must-make in the fall season.

10% of proceeds from the sale of BAKED through the end of 2022 will be donated to the Nashville Farmers Market’s Fresh Bucks program. Order by December 10 to receive in time for Christmas.
